This has received more attention over the last few years and is also described as 'Continuum Parenting' after the book 'The Continuum Concept'. I prefer the term attachment parenting as it is a little warmer and less scientific sounding! Basically it is 'what feels right to you' parenting and adopts more of the natural sometimes almost tribal techniques for raising children. Many parents are already doing it without even knowing that there is a name for it.
Read about the benefits of attachment parenting and the Sear's seven attachment parenting tools.
Go to the Further Reading section to read about some of the books that I have enjoyed reading which have helped support and encourage me along the way.

William Sears describes the seven attachment tools as ' The Baby B's'. He says 'like any job, AP requires a set of tools. The better your tools are, the more easily and better you can do the job!' It is important to stress that these are tools not steps and that you can choose which ones you want to do the job.
